The Department of Examiners of Public Accounts serves as an audit repository for the State of Alabama. Pursuant to Act 94-414, Acts of Alabama, any entity that receives and/or disburses public funds is required to submit a copy of their audit report to the Department. Audit Reports should be submitted to the: Department of Examiners of Public Accounts, Attention: Audit Repository, P.O. Box 302251, Montgomery, AL 36130-2251, or to Central.Records@Alexaminers.gov.
